Good Morning!!!

Corn has been so delicious this season… so why not more corn soup! Samascott corn simmered with potato, sweet red peppers, a little jalapeño, onion, scallion, cumin and lime and topped off with sour cream. Farro Salad is sweet and earthy with roasted eggplant, zucchini, sweet peppers, red onion, parmigiano and basil. For the sandwich, we are roasting Kinderhook beef rare, layering it into ciabatta, topped with sautéed sweet and sour escarole, provolone and a schmear of tomato jam. Tomato, mozzarella sandwich continues until tomatoes are no more! Figs are beautiful and sweet and we are baking a fig and almond torte.

Seasonal flavors from Via Ravioli, mozzarella and basil, plus corn ricotta. Easy peasy dinner. Boil for 2 minutes and out into your favorite sauce or simply butter and grated parmigiano!

Mimi’s jams are made with fruit from her garden as well as fruit from some of her favorite farms. These small batch jams and jellies are obviously delicious on toast, but think about vanilla ice cream, or alongside grilled pork or on a cheese board or a sandwich!
